Saline County Wreck Sends One Driver to Columbia Hospital

A 36-year old man was flown to a Columbia hospital after suffering serious injuries Tuesday afternoon, in a Saline County wreck.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident just before 3:00, on MO-41, just south of County Road 320.

According to the online crash report, a northbound 2011 Ford Fiesta traveled off the right side of the road and became airborne. The Ford then overturned and came to rest.

The driver, 36-year old Jeremy S. McMurray, of Bosworth, MO, suffered serious injuries in the accident. He was taken to University Hospital, by Staff for Life Air Ambulance, for treatment.

The MSHP report indicates that McMurray was wearing a safety device at the time of the accident.
