Sedalia Area Crime Reports for May 17, 2018

A Sedalia man with an active federal warrant for a conspiracy to distribute 100 kilos or more of a mixture containing marijuana was arrested on May 14. Sedalia Police and members of the ATF arrested 36-year-old Joshua Ryan Gilmore in the 1300 block of E. 13th Street. Gilmore was transported to the U.S. Attorney's Office in Jefferson City.

Sedalia Police responded to an accident at 16th and Engineer around 6:30 p.m. on May 15. A vehicle westbound on 16th St. had been struck by a Toyota that failed to stop at a stop sign on Engineer Ave. The Toyota then fled the scene. Several witnesses provided information and a license plate of the suspect vehicle. 39-year-old Amy Clark of Sedalia was located a short time later and was issued a municipal summons for leaving the scene of an accident and no proof of insurance.
