The City of Sedalia has announced its 45th annual Christmas Lights Contest.

 

This year’s judging will take place by members of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority Tuesday, Dec. 9 at 6:30 p.m.

Residents who haven’t won a prize in the last three years (2022–2024) are encouraged to enter by 12 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8 here or at the Mayor’s Office, 200 S. Osage Avenue.

 

Judging will be done from the street view based on lighting, originality, and overall appeal. Prizes include $100 for first place, $50 for second, and $25 for third.

 

Contestants: Please have your lights on by 6:30 p.m. for the judges and keep them shining through the Christmas holiday for all to enjoy.
