Funeral Announcements for December 15, 2025

The family of Lester Sidney “Les” Harrell, Jr., 96, of Sedalia will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15 at Heckart Funeral Home, where a funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. Burial with military honors will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Funeral service for Evelyn Marie Yonce, 83, of Sedalia will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16 at the chapel.

A memorial service for Loyd Henry Gudenschwager, 93, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 18 at Rea Funeral Chapel. Inurnment will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery with full military honors by the United States Air Force and Sedalia VFW Post #2591.

A celebration of life for Jonnie Von Benton, 87, of Sedalia, will be announced at a later date. Cremation arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

There are no services scheduled for Wesley Harrell Swift, Jr. 97, of Sedalia. Cremation arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.

Visitation for Louis K. Ahlemeyer, 89, of Sedalia, will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20 at Heckart Funeral Home, followed by a celebration of life service at 11 a.m. Full military honors will be conducted by the United States Navy and VFW Post No. 2591 following the service. Burial will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery at a later date.

Arrangements for Joshua Argenbright, 41, of Sedalia, are pending at Heckart Funeral Home.
