Funeral Announcements for September 25, 2025

A private graveside memorial gathering with family and friends of Shirley Grace Ballew, 83, of Sedalia, will be held at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Warrensburg at a later date. Cremation arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Funeral service for Edna Cleo Payne, 85, of Sedalia, will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25 at Grace Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. A private burial will be held by the family at a later date in Crown Hill Cemetery.

A graveside memorial service for Eldon Lee McClain, 85 of Sedalia, will be held by the family at a later date at Olive Branch Cemetery in rural Sedalia.

A celebration of life for Susan Dawn McMannama, 70, of Warsaw, will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1 at Rea Funeral Chapel. A private family burial will take place at Memorial Park at a later date.

There will be a celebration of life for Kenneth "Kenny" Dale Venable, 74, of Warrensburg, at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A celebration of life for Russell "Allen" Cooper, 77, of Sedalia will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27 at Centennial Park at Shelter #5. Cremation arrangements are being handled by Rea Funeral Chapel.

Visitation for Dixie S. Edwards, 86, of Otterville will begin at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29 with the funeral service to follow at 6:30 p.m. at Heckart Funeral Home. Burial will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30 at Shawnee Cemetery, Warsaw. Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.
