Sedalia Man Drowns at Truman Lake

A Sedalia man drowned at Truman Lake over the weekend at the Shawnee Bend recreational swim beach in Warsaw.

According to the MSHP, the man was swimming when he went under the water and did not resurface.’

The body was recovered by the Water patrol at 8:20 a.m. Saturday and pronounced at 8:40 by Benton County Coroner Weston Miller.

His name was not released.
