Funeral Announcements for June 9, 2026

A celebration of life for Joyce Faye Wright, 64, of Otterville, will begin at 11 a.m. July 11 at the Otterville Community Building. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life for Linda Sue Volden, 77, of Sedalia,  is being planned by the family and will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

The family of Larry L. Knowles, 89, of Sedalia, will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 9 at Faith Baptist Church, with a memorial service following at 11 a.m. Burial with military honors will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.

A private family service will be held at a later date for Marlyn Dean Kern, Sr., 86 of Smithton. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia.

The family of Teresa Roseann Britton, 71, of Sedalia, will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, June 12 at Heckart Funeral Home, where a Celebration of Life service will begin at 3 p.m.

A family graveside service will be held at a later date for Joyce Ann Nichols, 79, of Sedalia at Miller’s Chapel Cemetery near Nelson, Mo. Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
