Funeral Announcements for August 1, 2025

A Celebration of Life for Terry L.C. Hazell, 75, of Sedalia, will be Aug. 2 at 10:30 a.m., at Heckart Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will be in Highland Sacred Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.

Graveside service for Mitchell Ray Davis, 66, of Cole Camp, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. A pot luck meal and sharing of memories will follow at the Oak Hills Coon Club in Cole Camp. Arrangements are in care of Fox Funeral Home.

Visitation for Betty Elizabeth Modde, 74, will begin at 9 a.m., Thursday, July 31 with a celebration of memory beginning at 10 a.m., at Heckart Funeral Home.

The family of William A. Carver (Bill) of Florence, will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1 at Heckart Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1 at Bethlehem Baptist Cemetery in Florence.

A graveside memorial service and burial for Randy Joel Harris, 67, of Sedalia, will take place at 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 4 at Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

No services are being held for Sherryl L. Pine, 73, of Warrensburg. Cremation arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

The family of Homer Dale Edwards, 87, of Otterville, will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2 at Heckart Funeral Home, where a funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. Burial with military honors will be in Shawnee Cemetery in Warsaw.
