Funeral Announcements for January 12, 2026

The family of Julia Ann (Barklage) Skinner, 23, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, formerly of Sedalia, will receive friends from 9:30 to 11:45 a.m. Friday, Jan. 16 at Heckart Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at 12 noon Friday, Jan. 16 at Heckart Funeral Home. Wear vibrant colors in honor of Julia.

The family of Colleen Phyllis (Porter) Kauble, 89, will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24 at the Lutheran School Association Gymnasium in Cole Camp, where a celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 25 at Sheffield Cemetery in Arcadia, Kansas.  Arrangements by Fox Funeral Home.

A celebration of life for Robert Earl "Bobby" Ellis, 68, of Sedalia, will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23 at Rea Funeral Chapel.

A private family graveside service and burial for Christopher Lee Burtis, 46, of Sedalia, will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sedalia, Missouri at a later date. Arrangements are in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

The family of Richard R. Dittmer, 82, of Smithton, will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11 at Heckart Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 12 at St. John’s Evangelical Church in Florence. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, with military honors conducted by the U.S. Army and VFW Post 2591.

A Celebration of Life for George Andrew Willard, 61, of Sedalia, formerly of Tacoma, Washington will be held at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Sedalia at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

Cremation arrangements for Judith Marlene Rogers, 83, of Sedalia, are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A graveside service and burial for Dolores A. Parks, 85, of Sedalia, will be held at 12 p.m.  Friday, Jan. 16 at Bethlehem Baptist Cemetery in Florence. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the graveside service at Rea Funeral Chapel.

No services are planned for Nellie Arlene McConnell, 99, of Sedalia, formerly of Independence.  Cremation arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
