The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Tuesday, June 17, 2014.

Several Thefts Reported

Pettis County Deputies received a report of three yellow gold diamond rings and prescription pills, valued at $1,300, were stolen in the 19000 Block of Whitfield Road on June 14.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that her daugther's cell phone, valued at $250, was stolen while she swam at Liberty Park Pool.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that a man came to her residence and asked if she wanted to buy some meat on June 12. The man wrote down her EBT card and she decided to purchase the meat. The next day, she found there was a transaction with the meat company on her card.

Pettis County Deputies Investigate Property Damage

Pettis County Deputies received a report of an electrical box that was damaged inside a shed in the 32000 Block of May Road in Smithton.

Sedalia Police Put Down An Injured Pig

Early this morning (June 17) at 4, Sedalia Police saw a small pig on the side of the road in the 1600 Block of East Broadway. The pig was injured, possibly from falling out of a vehicle. The pig was put down and taken to the animal shelter for disposal.
