Around 11:30 Friday morning (August 5), Sedalia Police officers responded to the Liberty Park area for a man who wanted to report the theft of his bike. The man’s information was relayed to dispatch and it was confirmed that the man had an active failure-to-appear warrant from Miller County. The man then decided that he didn’t want to make the theft report. Officers arrested 47-year old Richard Len Craig on the warrant and transported him to the Pettis County Jail, with no bond.

 

Around 7:30 Friday evening (August 5), officers conducted a subject check in the 1100 block of South Harding Avenue. A man was walking around the trailer park, waving a knife in the air. It was determined that he was impaired by drugs. Arrested at the scene was 44-year old Clint Jeffery Lambert, listed as homeless. Lambert was taken to the Pettis County Jail and placed into protective custody.

 

Around 11:30 Friday night (August 5), officers performed a vehicle check in the area of 24th Street and Lafayette Avenue. Dispatch confirmed that the man had 3 warrants from Pettis County. 27-year old Matthew Raymond Fischer was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail.

On Friday, August 5th, Pettis County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of property damage at 4801 South Limit (Shell Convenience Store). No details about the property damage were listed in that report.

 

On Friday, August 5th, deputies responded to the 6600 of Highway 50 in reference to a stealing complaint. Two 12-volt batteries had been taken from a backhoe in the area. There are no suspects at this time, and the investigation is still ongoing.
