Sedalia Police arrested 42-year-old Mariaelena Jimenez Diaz-Prisendorf at Broadway and New York around 3:15 p.m. Sunday afternoon after officers responded to a report of a C & I driver that left 2701 West Broadway eastbound. The vehicle was later located in the 800 block of East Broadway and the officer observed the vehicle cross over the curb line between Brown and Engineer. The van was then stopped and the driver explained to the officer that the vehicle pulls to the right. A computer check revealed that the woman was wanted on a felony warrant for leaving the scene of an accident. Diaz-Prisendorf was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $3500 cash or surety bond.

Sedalia Police arrested 26-year-old Victoriano Sevastian-Felipe of Sedalia after locating him in the 4200 block of West Main April 7. According to a report, a witness reportedly saw the man stumble out of Casey's, 1909 West Main, and drive away westbound on Main. Police conducted a field sobriety test on the suspect and he was then taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was charged with DWI and Driving While Suspended. He was also wanted on two Pettis County warrants with a $150 cash bond, and a $3500 cash or surety bond.


 

Sedalia Police responded to T-Mobile, 4401 Wisconsin, after an alarm was tripped at the business on Monday at 3:17 a.m. Upon arrival, the front door was discovered broken and the suspects had already fled, but not before stealing approximately $2,583 of merchandise.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a black Chevy Cobalt at 911 E. 16th on Friday afternoon. According to a report, the driver, 31-year-old Robert J. Ingersoll of La Monte was wanted on a Benton County warrant. He was also allegedly driving while suspended. Ingersoll was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released on the Driving While Suspended charge, and booked on the warrant with no bond.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a gray Toyota at 3rd and Moniteau just after 7 p.m. Friday. The driver, 22-year-old Victor Gutsman of Pettis Couty, was found to be driving while suspended. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released with a May 8 court date.


 

On Saturday morning at 2:09 a.m., Sedalia Police arrested 47-year-old Rachel L. Moore of Marshall for DWI after conducting a traffic stop at Robinson and Saline. Moore was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where she was booked and released to a sober driver. She now has a May 8 court date.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop at Broadway and Warren just after 11:30 p.m. Saturday night. An occupant in the vehicle, 49-year-old Gary G. Brown, Jr., of Sedalia, was wanted on a Pettis County warrant for forgery. A subsequent search revealed Brown was in possession of meth and drug paraphernalia. Brown was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold, pending the filing of formal charges.


 

Sedalia Police arested 28-year-old Crystal G. Thomas of Sedalia in the 1400 block of East Boonville on Saturday around 3:30 p.m. after SPD was notified of a suspicious couple at 3rd and Engineer. The female (Thomas) was wanted for felony parole violation with no bond. She was taken to the Pettis County Jail, pending contact with her parole officer and return to the Department of Corrections.


 

On Saturday morning, a woman in the 200 block of E. 24th reported the theft of $800 of items from her residence. The report stated the woman noticed ruts in her grass leading to her back door.


 

The Missouri State highway Patrol arrested 36-year-old Jeremiah J. Benn of Cole Camp at 12:14 a.m. Monday in Benton County. He was charged with DWI. Benn was taken to the Benton County Jail, where he was booked and released.
