Here is your Sedalia Police crime reports for August 14, 2012.

 

Vehicle stop at 14th and Engineer results in arrest for a Sedalia man

At 4:00 this morning, Sedalia police stopped a vehicle with no license plates in the area of 14th and Engineer. A computer check on the occupants of the vehicle revealed that one of them, identified as 28-year-old Charles Wright of Sedalia, had an active warrant out of Pettis County for assault 2nd degree/DWI resulting in injury. He was arrested and transported to the Pettis County jail pending $7500 bond.

 

Sedalia police arrest a 26-year-old Sedalia woman for shoplifting at Walmart

Around 5:15 Monday afternoon, Sedalia police responded to the Walmart store on a shoplifter. Upon arrival, officers met with loss prevention personnel, who told them the suspect, 26-year-old Garcia Robles of Sedalia, was observed concealing items in her purse and leaving the store without paying for them. At the time of the police report Robles was in the Pettis county Jail pending bond of $531.50.

 

Two Sedalia suspects arrested on Johnson County Warrants

At 11:30 Monday night, Sedalia police stopped a vehicle at Saline and Hurley with a driver with a possible warrant.  A check through dispatch revealed the occupants, 21-year-old Amanda Brattain of rural Sedalia and 24-year-old Monte Ellis of Sedalia, both had failure to appear warrants out of Johnson County. At the time of the police report both suspects were in the Pettis County jail pending $50 cash only bonds.

 

Cole Camp man arrested on a failure to appear warrant Monday night

At 8:19 Monday night, Sedalia police investigated a report of suspicious activity at the Breaktime located at 318 West Broadway. Upon contact with a group of people at the location, officers conducted a computer check on those involved. Mitchell Cairer of Cole Camp was found to have an active failure to appear warrant out of Benson County. He was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail pending a $100 cash only bond.

 

33-year-old Sedalia woman arrested during a traffic stop Tuesday morning

Just after 10 o’clock this morning, Sedalia police performed a traffic stop at 7th and Summitt for displaying plates of another vehicle.  The driver, 33-year-old Kellie Davis of Sedalia, was found to be suspended. Davis  was arrested and taken to the Pettis County jail where she was booked and released with a court date.
