Sedalia Police reports 1-31-18

On Tuesday morning, Sedalia Police took a report from Jessica Wise, who said that she placed her engagement ring in her jacket pocket while exercising at Anytime Fitness, 110 W. 3rd, and when she left, noticed it was no longer there. She wasn't sure if it was stolen or if it fell out of her pocket. An employee promised to review surveillance video.


 

On Monday, 36-year-old Angie M. Steeves was arrested on a Pettis County warrant after police observed her at Katy Park in a silver Dodge Caliber at 11:42 a.m. A computer check revealed she was wanted on the warrant for trespassing. Steeves was placed into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $175.50 bond with a Feb. 6 court date.


 

Keegan Riley Webner, 18, Sedalia, was arrested after a traffic stop at 1:45 a.m. Wednesday at 16th and Kentucky. A computer check revealed she was wanted on a Municipal warrant. Webner was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $50 cash bond, with a Feb. 21 court date.


 
James Lamar Long,. Jr., 50, Sedalia, was arrested after a traffic stop at Broadway and Emmet at 10:56 p.m. Tuesday. Long was wanted on a Benton County warrant on a drug-related offense. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $4,999 cash or surety bond.
