Wednesday night, Officers responded to the 300 block of East 4th for a report of a suicidal subject. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the subject, who was suicidal. Officers attempted to take the subject into custody, and he resisted arrest. The subject also assaulted an officer during the incident. Ramon Marquis Jamerson, 23, of Sedalia, was ultimately arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail where he was placed on a 24 hour hold. Jamerson also had two Sedalia warrants, which he was booked on. Charges of Assault in the 3rd degree, Felony, and Resisting Arrest/Interfering With an Arrest, Misdemeanor, are pending.


 

Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of East 7th for a burglary report Wednesday evening.The victim, Ashley Y Nuci, stated her house had been gone through and listed numerous items that were stolen. The total value of the stolen items was approximately $4,825 and the total damage was estimated at $2,000.


 

Tuesday afternoon, Officers conducted a warrant check on a subject at a car wash at 10th St and Thompson Boulevard on an individual who was identified by an off duty officer. The warrant was confirmed active and Shane Robert Morgan, 37, of Sedalia was arrested for Probation/Parole Violation and taken to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 2800 block of West Broadway, The Family Pawn Store, for a report of trespassing Wednesday morning. Upon arrival they met with the caller, who stated that sometime overnight the shed located behind the business was broken into. The caller didn't know if anything was missing, but was able to provide video footage of the possible suspect vehicle.
