Wednesday morning, Robert Paxton reported a cable box owned by Charter Spectrum stolen from his vehicle while it was parked in the 200 block of South Stewart. At the time of the report, there was no suspect information. The value of the cable box is approximately $250.


 

Wednesday afternoon, Jacob Bean reported a delivery package stolen from his apartment in the 800 block of Ruth Ann Drive. The package had been stolen sometime between June 25th and July 1st. At the time of the report, there was no suspect information. The value of the stolen property is approximately $260.


 

Sedalia Police observed a vehicle eastbound on East Broadway Boulevard and recognized the driver Wednesday night. A DOR and warrant check of the driver revealed she had a Sedalia Failure to Appear warrant with a $60 cash only bond. The subject pulled into the Break Time store in the 800 block of East Broadway, where she was arrested. Cynthia Jean Snow, 54, of Hughesville, was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked in on the warrant and was given a court date.


 

On the evening of July 1, Officers were dispatched to the east Woods Supermarket store in the 700 block of East Broadway on a shoplifting complaint. Store employees observed the suspect in this incident steal a bottle of alcohol valued at $7.49. Officers spoke to the subject, who was arrested for shoplifting. The alcohol was recovered and returned to Woods undamaged. Marc Lee Head, 50, Homeless, was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.


 

Wednesday morning, Police were dispatched to the Municipal Courthouse in the 200 block of South Osage in regard to a subject with a possible warrant. After the warrant was confirmed, Caleb Paul Bartlett, 24, of Sedalia, was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail. The warrant was for Failure to Appear and had a bond of $200, cash only.


 

Officers were dispatched to the Yeager's Cycle store in the 3000 block of South Limit for a report of a damaged pop machine with money stolen from inside it. When Officers arrived, they spoke with the maintenance worker who found the machine. Frank E. Todd stated he last saw it two weeks prior when it was still in good condition. He stated that he found it damaged just before calling to make the report. There was an estimated $1,605 worth of change and money stolen. Officers took photos of the damage. There are no suspects at this time.


 

Sedalia Police responded to the area of North Lamine and East Morgan for a report of a motor vehicle accident Wednesday morning. Upon arrival, Police spoke with Donald Meyer, who said he was involved in an accident and the driver of the other vehicle left the scene.


 

Wednesday morning, Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of West 32nd for a 911 call. The residents advised that they had tried marijuana for the first time, and that one of them had fallen as a result, striking their head on a landscaping rock. One subject was transported to the Bothwell Regional Health Center by PCAD. Due to the Missouri Good Samaritan Law, no charges will be requested at this time.


 

On the evening of July 1st, Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of South Kentucky for a possible drug violation. Upon contact with the caller, Angelica Villagomez, Officers were advised that marijuana was found in the possession of a juvenile. A juvenile referral is being completed for the incident.
