In the early morning hours of July 23rd, Police initiated a traffic stop on a Dodge truck for speeding on East Third. The stop was conducted on East Main at South Massachusetts Avenue. During the stop, Officers learned the passenger had two Failure to Appear warrants out of Pettis County on original charges of Possession of Marijuana and Driving While Revoked. The suspect, Christina Marie Forsee, 32, of Sedalia, was placed under arrest and transported to the Pettis County Jail where she was given a bond of $500 and a court date.


 

Monday night, Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of South Prospect in reference to a domestic disturbance between two family members. Through the investigation, Officers could not determine the primary physical aggressor. One subject left the residence for the night and the incident was placed on a 12-hour domestic violence log.


 

Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of West 5th and South Missouri Avenue for a license violation late Monday night. The driver of the vehicle was found to be in possession of methamphetamine packed for sales, marijuana and digital scales. Jeffery Raymond Miller, 56, Homeless, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail where he was placed on a 24-hour hold for the charges of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.


 

Last Wednesday morning, Officers responded to the intersection of 6th and Kentucky Avenue in reference to a non injury accident. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with both drivers and obtained their information for a crash report. Investigation revealed one of the drivers had a suspended license in the state of Missouri. Municipal charges of Driving While Suspended have been submitted on the driver, who was not named in the report.


 

On the afternoon of July 5th, Police responded to a report of property damage that occurred in the 2100 block of East Broadway. The property damage totaled at $250 and charges are being submitted to the prosecutor. There was no further information in the report.
