Five Arrested on Maltsbarger Road After Search Warrant Executed
On Monday around 7:21 a.m., the Pettis County Sheriff's Office and the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 19532 Maltsbarger Road.
During the execution of this warrant, methamphetamine laced with fentanyl, Suboxone, Xanax and psilocybin mushrooms were located. Furthermore, numerous items of drug paraphernalia were seized.
The following individuals were arrested and the list of charges below were submitted to the Pettis County Prosecutor's Office:
Tony Meyer, 52, Sedalia - Trafficking 2nd Degree, Delivery of a Controlled Substance, two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child 1st Degree, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia-Prior Offender, Keeping/Maintaining a Public Nuisance.
Meyer was out on bond from numerous drug and firearms related charges stemming from a search warrant in September of 2023.
There was no bond issued for Meyer this time.
Samantha Batzel, 37, Sedalia - three counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child 1st Degree, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Prior Offender, Keeping/Maintaining a Public Nuisance. Bond for Batzel was set at $10,000 cash only.
Chrystal Streb, 43, Ionia - Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia-Prior Offender. Streb also had two outstanding felony warrants from Pettis County. Bond for Streb was set at $10,000 cash only.
Mildred Ann Hontz, 71, Sedalia - Keeping/Maintaining a Public Nuisance. Bond for Hontz was set at $10,000 cash only.
Mark Pate, 63, Sedalia - Trafficking 2nd Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Prior Offender. There was no bond issued for Pate.
Sheriff Brad Anders noted that this was the third search warrant executed at this Pettis County address since May of 2021.
