According to a facebook post by Pettis County Sheriff Brad Anders, for the past few days, the Pettis County Sheriffs Office, Sedalia Police Department, and the Mid-Mo Drug Task Force have served multiple search warrants in our community.

 

Here is a recap of the most recent warrant executions:

 

On 5/21/2025, the Pettis County Sheriff's Office and the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 1112 W. 7th in Sedalia. During the execution of the search warrant, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were located. The following subject was arrested:

 

*Erica Woodyard, 37, of Sedalia - Charged with Possession of Controlled Substance and was held on a $7,500 bond.

 

On 5/22/2025, the Pettis County Sheriff's Office, Sedalia Police Department, and the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 1400 East 12th Street in Sedalia. During the execution of the search warrant, methamphetamine, packaging supplies, and other drug paraphernalia were located.

 

The following subjects were arrested and the charges listed have been forwarded to the Pettis County Prosecutor's Office:

 

*Michael Stein , 56, of Sedalia - Distribution of a Controlled Substance in a Protected Location, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia-Prior Drug Offender.

*Roger Stein, 64, of Sedalia, - Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

*Devon Perry, 24, of Sedalia - Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

 

All three subjects were currently out on bond from a search warrant executed at the same residence on March 31, 2025.

 

Additionally, the residence is within 2,000 feet of Whittier High School, which is why it is a protected location.

 

A fourth subject was arrested for an active Pettis County warrant.

On 5/22/2025, the Pettis County Sheriff's Office, Sedalia Police Department, and the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 417 South Engineer.

 

During the execution of the search warrant, fentanyl patches, liquid morphine, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia were located. The following subject was arrested and the charges listed have been forwarded to the Pettis County Prosecutor's Office:

 

*Joseph Michael Jones, 66, of Sedalia - 3 Counts of Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia-Prior Drug Offender (The total weight of fentanyl in the patches was just below the statutory requirement for trafficking).

 

On 5/22/2025, the Pettis County Sheriff's Office and the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 28747 Bohon Road. During the execution of the search warrant, methamphetamine, suboxone, and drug paraphernalia were located. The following subject was arrested and the charges listed have been forwarded to the Pettis County Prosecutor's Office:

 

*Christopher Vieth, 40, of Sedalia - 2 Counts of Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

 

“A huge thank you to the Sedalia Police Department and the Missouri Department of Probation and Parole for their assistance on the successful execution of the search warrants. As these agencies continue to work together, side by side, we create a safer community for all,” Sheriff Anders said.
