The winners of this year’s Sedalia Police Department’s drone coloring contest have been announced with a personal visit at the various participating elementary schools by Det. Nick Camirand, who is also a certified drone pilot himself with the SPD’s Drone Unit.

The top three winners from each school were awarded a drone of their own to fly, along with a medal to wear.

The cost of the drones for all schools except St. Paul’s Lutheran, was covered by W-K Chevrolet-Buick-GMC.

The cost of the drones at St. Paul’s Lutheran was covered by Don Weaver of Don’s Truck Towing.

All medals were paid for by Central Bank of Sedalia.
