Sedalia Police reports 11-19-19

Sedalia Police arrested 36-year-old Tyson Jerome Battles of Sedalia in the 300 block of West 16th on Sunday night around 11:30 during a warrant check. Battles was wanted on a Johnson County warrant with a $1,500 bond. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Sedalia Police took two reports of hit and run on Sunday. The first happened overnight in the 900 block of South Moniteau and caused $2,000 of damage. The other occurred on Sunday at Broadway and Thompson and caused an estimated $4,000 of damage. The suspect vehicle in that case was an older white Chevy SUV with a broken passenger mirror.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 41-year-old Melissa Anne Stover of Sedalia in the 500 block of South Park at 2:15 a.m. Sunday. She failed to maintain the right side of the roadway and failed to signal, according to a report. Stover was taken into custody and transported to the SPD, then on to the Pettis County Jail, where she was booked and released to a sober person. She now has a Dec. 18 court date.


 

On Sunday around 9 p.m., Sedalia Police responded to a call of a disturbance with weapons near 5th and Engineer. 19-year-old Easter Rachelle Ray Galloway had left the scene, but was later located and arrested. She was wanted on two Pettis County misdemeanor warrants with a total bond amount of $325. Galloway was taken to the Pettis County Jail.
