Sedalia Woman Arrested for Assault, Trespassing
On Monday morning at 10:22 a.m., Sedalia Police responded to 614 E. 17th for a civil standby.
The officer met with the caller, who wanted to collect some property.
After collecting the property, it was determined that she was not a resident and eventually refused to leave.

Canada was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for a fit-for-confinement check, and then on to the Pettis County Jail, where she was placed on a 24-hour hold.
She now faces charges of 1st degree trespassing. Fraudulent use of a debit device, stealing, resisting arrest and assault on a law enforcement officer.
