Sedalian Charged With 3rd Degree Domestic Assault

Sedalia Police arrested 30-year-old Scovern Cameron Norris of Sedalia for felony 3rd Degree Domestic Assault after officers were called to the 500 block of Sunset Drive around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday on a domestic assault call.

According to a report, two suspects assaulted each other. Both had bruising and facial swelling, and police could not determine a primary physical aggressor.

In addition, a vehicle was damaged prior to the assault, the report said.The victim in the incident was uncooperative, the report added.

Norris was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold.
