The Sedalia Noonday Optimist Club's annual Haunted Hayride is Saturday at the Missouri State Fairgrounds. This fun Halloween event has been entertaining families for over three decades!

"It started out at the Haunted Forest out at the old quarry about thirty-some years ago, and it's kind of graduated into our hayride," said Jason Meyers with the Sedalia Noonday Optimist Club. "I'd say the last two to three years we've had about a thousand people."

A photo booth will be set up during the Haunted Hayride, and there will also be face painting and games and prizes. Hot chocolate and caramel apples will also be available.
