Boys and girls who want to learn about the game of basketball, improve their skills and have some fun during the summer can now enroll in State Fair Community College’s basketball camps.

SFCC coaches and student-athletes will lead the sessions on basketball fundamentals.

All camps will take place at the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center on the Sedalia campus. Register at www.sfccmoroadrunners.com/camps or at the Davis Center office.

Boys basketball camp for grades 3-12 will meet from 9 a.m. to noon June 10-12 and 8-11 a.m. June 13 and 14. Cost is $65, which includes a T-shirt. Campers should wear basketball shoes, socks, shorts, and shirts. Matt Brown, Roadrunners head coach; Adam Short, assistant coach; and current Roadrunners will work with participants individually and in groups, emphasizing basketball fundamentals.

Girls basketball camp for grades 3-12 will meet from 9 a.m. to noon June 17-20. Cost is $65, which includes a T-shirt. Campers should wear basketball shoes, socks, shorts, and shirts. Kevin Bucher, Lady Roadrunners head coach; Jade Perry, assistant coach; and Lady Roadrunners will provide individual and group instruction in all areas of basketball.

All campers are responsible for bringing and managing their own gear.
