The Falcons got on the scoreboard first with 25 minutes and 43 seconds remaining the opening half. East Central added another goal in the opening minute of the second half to secure the victory.

SFCC recorded eight shots as a team, four of which were on goal. Sophomore midfielder Mani Hondroudakis of Australia had a team-high two shots, one of which was on target.

SFCC used three goalkeepers in the game. Sophomore goalkeeper Sebastian Aguero of Sedalia got the start in goal for SFCC. He recorded four saves. Freshman goalkeeper Nicolas Olmos of Bolivia recorded one save, sophomore goalkeeper Alex Haag of Stover, Missouri also recorded a save.

"We are going to miss our sophomores," said Roadrunners Soccer Head Coach Jaime Beltran. "They are a wonderful group of young men. I can't wait to see what those guys do in life, because I know they're going to be successful, whether it's in soccer or something else."

Beltran was proud of the efforts of the sophomore class throughout their careers at SFCC.

"This group overcame a lot of adversity last year," said Beltran. "They broke the record for wins; got us our first winning season and nobody will ever be able to take that away."
