State Fair Community College basketball is having a great year for both the men's and women's teams. Coach Kevin Bucher has the Lady Roadrunners 13-4 overall this season, while Coach Kevin Thomas has the men at 14-5.

This season both teams have had the luxury of going to games on a bus provided by Ditzfeld Transfer, which Athletic Director Darren Pannier says is making a huge difference on and off the court.

“It is very beneficial for our coaches not to have to drive this season, “ Pannier said.  “The Ditzfeld-Weaver Transportation has been outstanding for us, it's a great outfit and we hope to continue the relationship.”

Now fans have a chance to travel in style with the Roadrunners as State Fair takes on Region 16 Basketball foe Moberly Community College this Wednesday (Jan. 16). A fan bus has been put together by the State Fair Community College Booster Club to allow fans and students to travel to Moberly for $20. The bus is scheduled to leave at 3 p.m on Jan. 16 in front of the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center.

“We're trying to take our home atmosphere on the road, especially during the Region 16 games,” Pannier said.

If this bus fills up, fans may have the chance to ride on the player's bus, which leaves at 2 p.m. On Jan. 16. The Lady Roadunners play at 5 p.m. and the men play at 7:30 p.m.
