Engemann was active in the Future Farmers of America for four years in high school.

Engemann signed his letter of intent to attend SFCC in the Fall and will study agriculture business. The shooting sports team at SFCC is in its second year at the college.

In its inaugural season, the SFCC squad competed in competitions across multiple states and attended the Clay Target National Championships at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas.

SFCC competed in men and women's American Trap, men and women's American Skeet, men and women's Sporting Clays, men and women's Super Sporting, men and women's Double American Skeet, and men and women's Double American Trap.

“Ben will make a great addition to our team,” said head coach Sarah Manuel. “I think he is going to flourish in the classroom and on the range. It is going to be exciting for him to be a part of a young program that is already seeing results.”
