State Fair Community College in Sedalia and all extended campus locations (Boonville, Clinton, Eldon, Lake of the Ozarks, and Whiteman Air Force Base) will close for winter break from noon Dec. 22 through Dec. 31. All offices will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 3.  

The Campus Store on the Sedalia campus will close at noon Dec. 22 and will be open Jan. 3. Spring textbooks will be available for online orders beginning Dec.  22.  Students can log on to mySFCC; click the Enroll tab, and click Get Books from Your SFCC Campus Store.

Students are strongly encouraged to order books online early, and the store is offering free shipping on orders placed by Jan. 2. Orders will be processed the week of Jan. 2. Store hours for January are 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Jan. 3 through Jan. 7 and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 8 and 9.   For more information, please visit

The Daum Museum of Contemporary Art will close at 5 p.m. Dec. 19 and will resume regular hours at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4.  The museum is closed Mondays. Admission is free. For more information, call (660) 530-5888 or visit

The State Fair Career and Technology Center that provides technical training for high school juniors and seniors on the Sedalia campus will close at 3 p.m. Dec. 17 and will resume classes 8 a.m. Jan. 4.

Spring interim classes are Dec. 20 through Jan. 3. The regular semester begins Jan. 10; last day to enroll is Jan. 9. Prospective students may apply online at free.
