Rocket science, art, acting, weaving, cooking, gardening, sewing, escape rooms, unicorns, jewelry design, puppet-making, music, tie-dye, Egyptian exploration and modern day ladyship are just some of the classes that will be offered this summer at State Fair Community College’s eighth annual Kids College.

Classes will meet mornings or afternoons June 17-20, June 24-27, July 8-11, and July 15-18.

Fees vary from $59 to $79 per class based on materials and equipment used. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Early enrollment is advised; classes without minimum enrollment one week prior to start dates may be canceled.

Roadrunner Career Exploration Courses are offered for students in grades 6-10, except for Hitting the Road class that is for grades 8-10. Career Exploration Courses will feature building trades, rocket science, computer building, health sciences, entrepreneurship, healthy cooking, and new driver preparation.
