SH Junior High Teams Lose at Stover in Kaysinger Tourney

The Sacred Heart Junior High boys "A" team (9-6, 4-4) lost in the semifinals of the Kaysinger Tournament by a score of 37-23 to the Windsor Greyhounds. 

Wyatt Damlo led the Grems in scoring with 6 points.  Miles Hostetler contributed 5 points and 5 rebounds.

The Grems take on the Green Ridge Tigers in the third-place game at 1:45 p.m. Saturday in Stover.

The Sacred Heart Junior High School Lady Gremlins lost in the semifinals of the Kaysinger Tournament last night to the Tipton Cardinals 31-18.

The game was much closer than the final score, according to the coach.

It was tied at halftime, and 21-16 at the 3:00 mark of the 4th quarter. The girls gave great effort as always, but eventually, Tipton pulled away in the last few minutes.

Paisley Carl led the Grems with 9 points and Maggie Van Leer had 4. The Lady Gremlins play for third place on Saturday at Stover.
