SH Sophomore Kate Carney advances to Class 1 State Track Meet

Sophomore Kate Carney advanced to the Class 1 State Track Meet in shot put.

She placed 4th at the Sectional meet in Sarcoxie with a throw of 9.3 meters.

The 4x200-meter relay also advanced to state by placing 4th with a time of 2:02.45. Relay members include: Arly Ponce (junior), Kate Carney (sophomore), Mariana Restrepo (sophomore) and Allie Finney (junior).

The state meet is in Jefferson City this Saturday, May 22.
