Sacred Heart JV and Varsity Volleyball beat Crest Ridge, Thursday, Sept. 2 at home.

JV won in two sets 25-19, 25-17. JV's record is now 1-1 on the season.

Varsity won in three sets 25-15, 25-22, 25-16. Sophomore Setter Sammy Altena was back on the court for the first time this season and had 18 assists and 5 digs.

Junior Emma Siron connected with Altena on offense with a match-high 20 kills.

Senior Kiley Beykirch was instrumental in the execution of the offense with 12 digs and 13 assists on the evening.

"Tonight was a good win for both our JV and Varsity. We finally had all of our players eligible, everyone is healthy, and we are starting to figure out which combinations of offense and defense work best based on our challenges." said Coach Marlo Siron.
