Sheryl Yvonne Richardson, 71

Sheryl Yvonne Richardson age 71 of Hughesville died on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia.

She was born on August 20, 1944 in Warrensburg, daughter of Robert L. and Wanda Farnsworth Wiskur. On June 2, 1963 in Hughesville she married Ronnie Richardson and he survives of the home.

Sheryl graduated from Hughesville High School in 1962. She was a member of Georgetown United Methodist Church. She volunteered at Birthright for a number of years. She enjoyed traveling in the United States and abroad with friends. Sheryl and Ronnie took a trip to Italy in 2001. She later took a trip to Jerusalem in 2015. She enjoyed her flowers and was an excellent cook and baker.

Sheryl loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Besides her husband she is survived by three daughters; Sheri Austin (Roger) of Hughesville, Leah Pruitt (Michael) and Jill Nieters (Bo) both of Lake Saint Louis, MO, one son; Daniel Richadson (Angie) of Hughesville, five brothers; Robert Wiskur of Smithton, Dwight Wiskur of Sedalia, Doyle Wiskur of Gilliam, MO, Van Wiskur of Pleasant Hill, MO, Roger Wiskur of Sedalia, two sisters; Sonya Walter of Hughesville, Deawn Hersini of Ithaca, New York, eleven grandchildren; Logan Austin, Cortlen Austin, Baron Austin, Slader Pruitt, Seth Pruitt, Eden Pruitt, Isaac Nieters, Elliot Nieters, Matthew Richardson, Maisie Richardson, Jozy Richardson.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. Friday, January 8, 2016 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home with Pastor Kenny Cripe officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Logan Austin, Cortlen Austin, Baron Austin, Slader Pruitt, Seth Pruitt and Gary Richardson.
