A Stover man was injured in a motorcycle accident that occurred Tuesday evening in Benton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2003 Honda VTX, driven by 45-year-old Richard W. Lee of Stover, was on Route WW, west of Brushy Chapel Avenue around 7:20 p.m., when Lee said he struck an animal in the roadway and the bike overturned, ejecting the rider.

Lee suffered moderate injuries and was transported by Cole Camp EMS to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.

 

The Honda had moderate damage and was towed by Twin Lakes Towing.

Benton County Deputies assisted the Patrol.
