The base paths were crowded for both offenses in a high-scoring game where the Northwest Mustangs Varsity came out on top against Sacred Heart Varsity Gremlins, 11-6.

Northwest Mustangs Varsity opened up an early lead in the second inning when Timmie Allee singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Northwest Mustangs Varsity took the lead for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third Isaac Nieters doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run, Caden Crooker singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, and Owen Caton doubled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.

Northwest Mustangs Varsity scored three runs in the sixth inning. Northwest Mustangs Varsity's big inning was driven by a single by Allee and a double by Crooker.

Nieters was on the mound for Northwest Mustangs Varsity. Nieters lasted five innings, allowing four hits and four runs while striking out nine.

Gavin Caldwell toed the rubber for Sacred Heart Varsity Gremlins. Caldwell surrendered seven runs on eight hits over three innings, striking out three and walking zero. Connor Rice threw three innings out of the bullpen.

Sacred Heart Varsity Gremlins tallied eight hits in the game. Tanner Damlo and Carter Rice all collected multiple hits for Sacred Heart Varsity Gremlins. Rice and Damlo each collected two hits to lead Sacred Heart Varsity Gremlins.

Northwest Mustangs Varsity collected 14 hits on the day. Crooker, Allee, and Nieters all managed multiple hits for Northwest Mustangs Varsity. Crooker led Northwest Mustangs Varsity with four hits in four at bats. Northwest Mustangs Varsity didn't commit a single error in the field. Allee had the most chances in the field with 11.
