Suspect Allegedly Choked Woman, Threatened Her With Knife

On Monday night, Sedalia Police responded to the 1000 block of South Merriam Avenue in reference to a physical domestic disturbance.

The victim stated that she had injuries due to being choked and threatened with a knife.

Richard James Curd IV, 34, was arrested for Domestic Assault in the 2nd Degree and transported to the Pettis County Jail. Curd was placed on a 24-hour, hold pending the formal filing of state charges.
