A 35-year-old Moberly man will be sentenced in May after being found guilty of murder in the death of a Poplar Bluff man.

A Poplar Bluff man drowned Saturday in the Black River in Butler County.

Authorities say a 16-year-old girl was killed and five other people were injured, some seriously, when two boats collided in southeast Missouri.

An autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause of death for a person whose body was found near the Black River in southeast Missouri.
