A lot of kids in our area are totally psyched about the upcoming spring and summer months. They're so excited that everything they do outside is just brimming with gusto. I got to go down to the Sedalia Parks and Rec Easter Egg Hunt at Liberty Park this past Saturday (April 12) to see it for myself.
The Salvation Army of Sedalia is always busy working on helping people here in our area. They offer lots of dinners, but coming up on April 20 they have a free Easter dinner. Not only can you enjoy the food, but you can also volunteer with the meal itself.

Several Easter Egg hunts that were scheduled over Easter weekend. Each year the Sedalia Parks and Rec puts on an egg hunt the weekend before. However, snow cancelled it and moved it to today (Mar. 30). The National Weather Forecast had originally said the forecast for rain wasn't supposed to come until the afternoon, but it showed up just before 10 a.m.
