Obituary

Dennis Lee LaBille, 64, of Smithton, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 13, 2013.  He was born on February 26, 1949, in Kansas City, MO, a son of Joseph and Esther (Hubbert) LaBille.

Evelyn Maxine Homan passed away the morning of Thursday, June 6, 2013 having attained the age of 90 years, 10 months. She will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all those that knew and loved her.

Mildred A. Calhoun, 85, of Sedalia, died Saturday surrounded by her family. She was born March 24, 1928, the daughter of Edward and Lydia (Shoemaker) Goalder. Mildred and William Calhoun were married and celebrated almost 50 years together. William died in 1997.

Helen Lucille Findley, 75, of Sedalia, passed away Friday, June 7, 2013, at Parkview Estates in Sedalia.

Eddie Lee Long II, 66, of rural Lincoln, died Thursday, June 6, 2013, at his home.  He was born on September 19, 1946, at Danville, Illinois, a son of Eddie Lee and Sally Ann (Davis) Long.

Bernice Elaine (Holland) Payne, 89, of Smithton, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Tipton Oak Manor, Tipton, MO.  She was born on February 11, 1924, in Montana, a daughter of Homer and Bessie (Neilson) Holland.

Evelyn Newbill, 91, of Sedalia, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013 at her home. She was born on March 27, 1922, in Sedalia, a daughter of Archie and Pansy (Cox) Burris.   On January 1, 1940, in Sedalia she was united in marriage to Ira S. Newbill Sr., who preceded her in death on August 21, 1960.

Lois Derr, 94, formerly of Aurora, MO, passed away Friday, May 31, 2013 at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, MO. She was born on June 4, 1918, near Dunnegan, MO, a daughter of James and Eunice (Goodrich) Goodwin.

Viola Doreen Phillips, 82, of Florence, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013, at her home. She was born July 18, 1930, in Florence, daughter of Bernhardt and Pearl (Steele) Brodersen. On May 20, 1950, she was married to Jackie L. Phillips, who survives of the home.

Evelyn Patricia “Patti” Howard, 72, of Sedalia, passed away, Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at her home. She was born on March 25, 1941, in Pittsfield, IL, a daughter of Charles David and Mary (Hillman) Rupert.   On October 21, 1962 in Quincy, IL, she was united in marriage to William R. Howard, who survives of the home.
