Pettis County Commissioners presented a proclamation to Pettis County Joint Communications, proclaiming April 14-20 as 'National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week'

The driver was later identified as Ricky A. Miller and the passenger was identified as Jennifer L. Neighbors. The Pettis County K9 Unit was able to apprehend Neighbors after a short foot pursuit.

Pettis County Joint Communications was awarded $265,435.73 for call-taking hardware and software.
