According to Missouri State Treasurer Clint Zweifel, 523 fair attendees found $68,000 in unclaimed property at the 2012 Missouri State Fair. One fair attendee was lucky enough to find $4,600 in unclaimed property. Treasurer Zweifel’s staff conducted over 1500 searches and talked to thousands of fairgoers about finding valuable unclaimed property.
