
Three Arrested in Sedalia after Shooting Incident
Three people from Sedalia were arrested in connection to a shooting incident that occurred Friday (Dec 7) in the 700 block of W. 11th Street.
A report from the Sedalia Police Department indicates officers were dispatched to the area for a disturbance with a weapon.
Police made contact with the victim who said the suspect came to her house and began arguing about a previous incident.
The suspect then reportedly pointed a gun at the victim's head and ordered her to get in the vehicle with him. The victim stated she ran back into the house and the suspect drove away. A short time later, officers were dispatched back to the residence for a report that suspects had returned and shot up the house. No injuries were reported.
Police later located the suspect vehicle and initiated a pursuit. The vehicle pursuit ended in the area of Highway O and Farmers City Road in the county. Three suspects were arrested in connection to the incident. Charges are being sought for:
22-year old Austin Michael Dotson for 1st Degree Assault, Armed Criminal Action, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, felony Resisting Arrest, felony FTA warrant, Unlawful of a Concealed Weapon, Driving While Suspended and Careless Driving.
19-year old Anthony Richardson for 1st Degree Assault, Armed Criminal Action, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, drug violation, felony Resisting Arrest, Tampering with Evidence, FTA warrant and Careless Driving.
24-year old Colleen M. Terry for Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.
