Three SFCC Students Receive $1,000 3M Scholarships
Elaina Wirths of Pilot Grove, Joseph Sokolov of Smithton, and David Thomlinson of Pettis County R-V were chosen as three of the top 20 students in the nation to receive the Skilled Trades – 3M Transformational Scholarship - worth $1,000 each.
Making the presentation were SFCC President Dr. Brent Bates and SFCC Dean for Technical Education and Workforce Innovation Michael Leonard.
This scholarship provides schools the ability to build within their communities by focusing on bridging gaps of inequality with the highest standards of skilled trades and education.
