Trail CamThis week has been great, a little hot, but what the heck. We need some rain, it's getting dry and with no rain in sight for another week, the sprinklers are in full operation and the farmers are praying for rain.

Anyhow, I put the cameras out last week and some Big Tine from Rusty Toad Archery, and yes, it works. I put it in a new spot with a camera and in two days the deer had found it and cleaned it out, I had to restock it. The deer are out and we'll be posting photos soon. Stay tuned for more information about our Trail Cam Contest.

This weekend is the Tipton Fair, Benton County Rodeo and other events everywhere. I will be at DQ for Christmas in July, and yes, it will be snowing on the patio. We'll have prizes and a chance to win a Blizzard every day for a year before heading to the Smithton fair. It's always a blast and I get to judge the BBQ Pittmasters BBQ Contest. It's going to be great.

Then it's off to the Hitchin' Post in Knob Noster for the debut of the band "Your Mom." Yes, the "Your Mom" band, featuring MoKids Outdoors vice-president and #1 guide J.R. Kenyon on vocals for their first gig. It will be a blast, so come and check them out.

On Sunday morning, I'm going on a guided hybrid fishing trip. Hybrid Mania Guide Service Jim Cuda will be our guide, and it's going to be great. We'll have photos and talk to him on the show next week. Until next week, fish on!
