In a U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) All Employee Survey (AES), the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans’ Hospital recently was ranked No. 1 nationally. Truman VA has been ranked No. 1 throughout the VA by employees for the second consecutive year.

In a press released by the U.S. Veterans Affairs, Truman VA scored 76.09, more than four points higher than the VA average of 72.01 and higher than the VHA average of 71.70.

With the Fall results recently published, the actual survey was taken in June. Although VA employees are encouraged to participate for the best assessment of workforce satisfaction and organizational climate, the survey is voluntary.

The Harry S. Truman Memorial Veteran's hospital offers inpatient and outpatient health services to Veterans from 43 counties in Missouri, as well as Pike County, Illinois. Approximately 40,000 Veterans receive health care at Truman VA each year from comprehensive services that include primary care, medical and surgical specialties, behavioral health, physical and occupational therapy, pharmacy services and more.
