Two people were injured in a one-vehicle rollover that occurred Sunday night in Benton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 1999 Ford F-150, driven by 48-year-old Thomas G. Starforth of Osceola, was on Missouri 83, south of Warsaw Avenue around 6:30 p.m., when the truck traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a tree and overturned.

Starforth suffered minor injuries and refused treatment. His passenger, 53-year-old Michelle L. George of Warsaw, suffered serious injuries and was flown to Research Hospital in Kansas City by Lifeflight. Neither were wearing their seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report.
