Two residents of Lebanon, MO were injured late Monday night in a Benton County vehicle wreck.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident at approximately 11:30, on southbound US-65.

According to the online crash report, a 1999 Lincoln attempted to exit onto Main Street when it lost traction and traveled off the road. The vehicle struck a concrete drainage culvert and went airborne. The vehicle then traveled into a ditch, struck an embankment and came to rest.

The driver, 20-year old Estiban A. Hernandez-Sierra, and a passenger, 18-year old Dylan G. Dampier, both of Lebanon, suffered minor injuries. They were taken to Bothwell by Warsaw-Lincoln EMS for treatment.

The Lincoln sustained extensive damage and was towed from the scene.
