Two KC Residents Arrested, Charged With Trafficking

On Friday, members of the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force worked with the Missouri State Highway Patrol on drug charges after a vehicle stop in Sedalia, according to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office.

35-year-old Crystal Froman and 36-year-old Shaun Pitts, both of Kansas City, were charged with 1st degree trafficking and four counts possession of a controlled substance .

Both were found to be in possession of large amounts of heroin and methamphetamine, along with illegal prescription pills.

Both Pitts and Froman were being held at the Pettis County Jail on separate warrants totaling $150,000 cash or surety.
