Two teenagers from Marshall, MO were injured Saturday afternoon in a one-vehicle wreck that occurred in Lafayette County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident at 4:40 p.m., on MO-20 west of MO-23.

According to the online crash report, a 2015 Toyota Corolla traveled off the road, struck an embankment, and became airborne. The vehicle then overturned but came to rest on its wheels.

The driver, 19-year old Esmeralda Tinoco, and a passenger, 16-year old Ismael Tinoco, both suffered moderate injuries. They were taken to Fitzgibbon Hospital, by Concordia EMS, for treatment.

The Toyota sustained extensive damage and was towed from the scene.
